EMPIRE STAR; JUSSIE SMOLLET HOSPITALISED AFTER SUSPECTED RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC ASSAULT IN CHICAGO

American actor Jussie Smollet has been admitted in the hospital after he was attacked at the East Lower Water Street, in Chicago, while  leaving a restaurant in a suspected racist and homophobic attack. According to the police statement, Jussie Smollet was apparently attacked by two men who verbally assaulted him using racial and homophobic words, at about 2am on Tuesday.
The police report says: ‘’the offenders began to batter the victim with their hands about the face and poured an unknown chemical substance on the victim. At some point during the incident, one of the offenders wrapped a rope around the victim’s neck.’’
After the assault, Jussie Smollet,  later went to the Northwestern hospital for medical examination. According to the police report, Jussie Smollet is now getting better and in good stable condition.
